Day 279/365 - Monumental Achievement
I promise I'm not calling him mundane, but the stuff he is doing has got to be. Getting the new house ready for all of us is exhausting. His job is ALL THE STUFF. Mine is to keep the kids alive. I promise my job is easier.
My weekends are spent solo parenting, so I look for things we can all do together. Which, having kids ranging from 5-10, isn't always easy. But I can almost always get them all to sit down at the table together to draw or color.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for today, so I looked through some books for some ideas. Then I remembered my son's Learn to Draw vehicles book.
Once I saw the page on how to draw a pickup, I knew what to do. Our newly acquired 1996 Ford F-150 is the one tool he said he "needed" to get all this work done. I agreed, and so this picture will serve as his monument!
