Day 195/365 - Monster Deal
Called in a specialist to help with today's prompt.
Even though I think my imagination is still good enough to invent a new monster, 3 of my 4 kids were occupied with other activities so I asked my 6 year old daughter to draw a monster and color it.
What I love about this, is she didn't ask why. She didn't need to know why I wanted her to do it. I handed her paper and a pencil and asked her to draw a monster. She told me about it as she was drawing it. She said she wanted it to look more like an alien. When she finished, I asked her to color it. Again, no questions, she just did it. Then she handed it to me and went on about her way. I waited until she was done and wrote the haiku to describe it. And yes, she's the one that said he had a bajillion toes. And that it was a he. Kids are so entertaining.
