Day 12 - Camouflage

Camouflage. I've never been good at hiding - myself or anything else. I was always the first kid found in hide and seek and I'd make a terrible Easter Bunny.

With camouflage, I always think of the classic army colors. So before I did anything else, I dug those colors out of my trusty 120 box of Crayons. In case you're wondering I used Asparagus, Olive Green, Beaver, Tumbleweed and Raw Sienna. The eyes are Cerulean (My absolute favorite color crayon, with Plum as a very close second.)

I've been relying a lot on the internet and my printer to find the exact right picture to either color or use as a background, but for some reason, my printer is not currently on speaking terms with my computer, so I dug into one of coloring books.

This particular book is fairly cheap, in terms of choices, and there were a few pages I've had no idea what to do with. I've passed this swirl page several times, not knowing how or why to use it. But today, I saw the eyes, right in the middle of the page, and I just knew what to do from there.
